This particular project involved selecting and depicting a type of social injustice through the use of image manipulation in Illustrator and Photoshop. I chose to portray media censoring; more specifically, the idea that censoring something draws more attention to it. Various symbols pertaining to the topic can be seen in the microphone head and the shape of the wire as it meets the audio box. Multiple textures were used to make the background and Illustrator was used to make each of the pieces before they were texturized in Photoshop.
